I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Park House Hotel. While the breakfast was outstanding and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere, my experience was overshadowed by an uncomfortable mattress and an unusual smell in the room. The location is quite convenient for exploring the area, but the age of the furnishings left something to be desired.

I had a mixed experience at Park House Hotel. The central location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Galway. The staff were warm and welcoming, which created a nice atmosphere. However, the room was a bit darker than I expected, and the shower facilities felt outdated. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, the hotel needs to address a few areas to fully meet the 4-star standards.
